As a tech and IT accountancy company we look this week into the latest advances in global comms. There has been mentions of Starlink and the satellites in the news that make internet connection available to many inaccessible places around the world. So what is it? Using SpaceX’s low orbit satellites to create low latency and high speed connections means that even planes, trains and boats can be connected. The cost is manageable at £75 per month and a one off £500 hardware cost. There is of course an app to make it all happen. With an impending failure of fibre cable connection companies like the cheap energy suppliers might this be worth considering for business as well?
